The
Charles Nash Home was built in 1965 for Powell Thompson. |
-
The home was a 3/4 size replica of Stratford
Hall in Virginia, the summer home of Robert E. Lee's
parents.
-
The original Stratford Hall used downstairs for
servants and offices.
-
Located at each corner of the original Stratford
Hall were "outbuildings", which served as a model
for the Nash guest house. This guest house
functioned as a Tea Room and Symphony Shop.
