The oldest of the ShowHouses Building cost was $27,000 in 1902 The home is a Greek Revival style, and said to be the most beautiful in the South Home was designed by Maj. T. U. Walter of Birmingham, and Samuel Parsons, a landscape architect from New York An elevator was installed by the Jemison's to handle heavy steamer trunks.
