The Jemison-McCullough House was built in 1902 for Robert Jemison, Sr.
  • The oldest of the ShowHouses
  • Building cost was $27,000 in 1902
  • The home is a Greek Revival style, and said to be the most beautiful in the South
  • Home was designed by Maj. T. U. Walter of Birmingham, and Samuel Parsons, a landscape architect from New York
  • An elevator was installed by the Jemison's to handle heavy steamer trunks.
